Glenn Warren, 78, passed away at home on July 8, 2023, after an extended illness. He was born November 8, 1944, to Henry and Telsie Deckard Warren in Heber Springs.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Marlene Bratton. He is survived by his wife of nearly 61 years, Barbara Miller Warren, children, Loria Warren of Little Rock; Martha Cole of Fort Smith; and Sarah (Will) Nosser of Little Rock; grandchildren, Madeline Thornton; Gavin Forcier; and Esme Nosser; sister, Linda (Charlie) Johnson; brother-in-law, Doug Bratton; and many well-loved nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Glenn put his faith in Jesus, was baptized in Little Red River before it became a lake, and was a member of Pleasant Ridge General Baptist Church. He spent many years working for Rock Products, and was able to fix just about anything. Glenn had a remarkable memory and amazing recall for numbers, dates, and events. He grew up fishing and hunting and enjoyed both for many years. He spent many hours watching car racing and all kinds of ball games.
Glenn enjoyed gathering with extended family, and he and Barb were unsurpassed in their hospitality. Glenn loved and served his family well, and delighted in his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
Graveside service will be Monday, July 10, 11:00, at Antioch Cemetery, Drasco. The family is deeply grateful for the love and care given by Hospice Home Care of Searcy. Special thanks to Donna; Alice; Chad; Megan, and the entire care team. The family will be at home in Ida following interment at Antioch Cemetery. Thanks to everyone who came along the way.
