Obituary

Glen Otis Weeks, age 85, of Rose Bud, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Unity Health Medical Center in Searcy, Arkansas. He was born April 27, 1937 in Rose Bud, Arkansas to the late William Gurley Weeks and Edna Sara Webb. 

Glen is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Hoyd Weeks; and two sisters, Marie DeMell and Violet Bray.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Weeks; two sons, Thomas Weeks of Rose Bud, Arkansas, and Ronald Weeks (Teresa) of Fayetteville, Arkansas; daughter, Judy Barnett (Mike) of Bessemer, Alabama; and sister, Lavenia Bedsaul of Kimberling City, Missouri. 

Glen worked many years in self-employment working as a truck driver and farmer. After retirement, he became passionate about gardening and working outside. He had a deep love for his family and his dogs.

Visitation is 10:00 AM, Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Heber Springs Funeral Home with the Funeral Service following at 11:00 AM. The inurnment is at Martin Cemetery in Rose Bud, Arkansas TBA.
