Gladys Sepulveda-Maldonado, age 90, of Heber Springs, Arkansas passed away Saturday, January 2, 2020. She was born July 20, 1930 in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Telesforo Sepulveda and Rosa Maldonado.
Gladys lived in New York over thirty years then returned to Puerto Rico. She worked as a seamstress, enjoyed gardening and reading. She never met a stranger and was always talking.
Those preceding her in death were her husband; her parents and one daughter, Nalda Sottile; siblings, Luz Hermina Erminan (Lucy) Sepulveda-Maldonado, Gloria Maria (Gloria) Sepulveda-Maldonado, Rito Antonio (Rito) Sepulveda-Maldonado, Ajenol (Noni) Sepulveda-Maldonado, Jesus Aguileo (Gilo) Sepulveda-Maldonado and Juana Milagros (Milagros) Sepulveda-Maldonado.
Survivors include two daughters, Yvette Toro of Heber Springs, Arkansas and Nellie Evans; step-son, Jesus Toro; several nieces and nephews; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and many friends.
No services are planned at this time.
Cremation arrangements are by Heber Springs Funeral Home.
