Gipsy Rose Qualls, age 83, of Heber Springs, passed away December 5, 2021 at Unity Health Medical Center in Searcy. Rose was born December 4, 1938 in Egypt, Arkansas to the late Woodrow Wilson Hutchison and Elsie Louella Freeman Hutchison.
Rose was a very giving person. She loved her family and would sacrifice anything for them. This is one of the many reasons she loved being a homemaker. She was also an artist who enjoyed painting pictures and when life presented opportunities, she loved to pan for gold.
Rose is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Junior Qualls; one son, David Qualls; one daughter, Judy Rosealena Qualls; and one brother, Randall Clay Hutchison.
She is survived by three sons, Billy Qualls (Brenda) of Heber Springs, Danny Qualls of Heber Springs, and Steven Wells; one daughter, Janna Hill (Greg); four sisters, Ramona Jean Shirley of Cave City, Arkansas, Emma Lou Caples of Rogersville, Missouri, Anna Belle Morris of Gassville, Arkansas, Linda Sue Simmons of Batesville, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service for Rose will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Church of the Redeemed located at 222 W. Main St. Heber Springs, AR 72543.
