George Ralph Shuster, Jr., age 84, of Greers Ferry, AR departed this life on September 1, 2024.  He was born on June 27, 1940 in Philadelphia, PA to George Ralph Shuster & Francis Hope Geist.

George is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Delores “Dodie” Ann Shuster, two sons; Ralph Shuster of Maumelle, Gus (Kristi) Shuster of Sherwood, two step-daughters; Cindy (Gerald) Gladish of Carlisle and Janette (Ron) Thornton of South Carolina, four sisters and one brother; Faith Kingsley of Glen Mills, PA, Norma Dougherty of Newtown Square, PA, Linda Smith of Ridley Park, PA, Bill Shuster of Swedesboro, NJ, Karen Gerhart of Glen Mills, PA and a a family full of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

George was preceded in death by his parents, two step-sons; Billy Seerey of Anchorage, AK, Jerry Seerey of Little Rock, AR and his sister, Myrna Shuster of Secane, PA.. 

During George's life he was an air force veteran, and owner and operator of “George’s Full Service Gas Station” in Little Rock, AR.  Later, he and Dodie retired to Greers Ferry to enjoy the peace and solitude of the beautiful lake area.  

A memorial service will be Friday, September 6, 2024, at 11:00 am. at the Heber Springs Funeral Home, 1199 Wilburn Rd, Heber Springs, AR  72543.
