Gary Frank Stringfellow

Gary Frank Stringfellow, 62, of Rose Bud, passed away on August 7, 2021.

Gary was born in Little Rock on December 12, 1958, to the late Bertie Frank Stringfellow and Betty Ruth (Burton) Stringfellow. He married Sharon Kay Mullens on November 22, 1977, and remained a loving, devoted husband for over 43 years.  He was the well-respected owner of Stringfellow Furniture in Heber Springs for 39 years. Gary was most proud of his children and grandchildren.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Kathy Gale Owen, and his brother Carl Stringfellow. 

Gary is survived by his wife Sharon Stringfellow; his children, Andy Frank Stringfellow and wife Heather of Searcy, Tina Kay Stringfellow Barnes of Heber Springs, and Alex (Whitney) Stringfellow of Conway; his brothers, Dale Stringfellow of Rose Bud and Larry Joe Owens of North Little Rock; and four grandchildren: Trenton Lee Barnes, Brooklyn Kay Barnes, Valjean Frank Stringfellow, Cosette Kaylee Stringfellow; as well as a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at the Heber Springs Funeral Home with Pastor Marvin Frederick. A private family burial will follow at Mount Bethel Free Will Baptist cemetery located on Highway 36, outside of Rose Bud.

Pallbearers will be David Mullens, Matthew Mullens, Kory Mullens, Dustin Mullens, Steve Andrews, Daniel Reed, and Dale Stringfellow.
