Frances Louise Baggett, age 94, of Heber Springs, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 7, 2021. She was born March 24, 1926 in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Phillip M. Sherman and Flora Sears Sherman. Frances was a homemaker and a member of Heber Springs Assembly of God Church.
Frances and her sister Juanita worked at Bell Aircraft in Marietta, Georgia, helping build B29 bombers during WWII. She was quite an artist and loved being outside working in her yard. Frances was a humble, caring, considerate, devout, christian lady. Her church was a very important part of her life. She will be greatly missed by her family but they know they will see her again someday and she is where she wanted to be.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Frank Baggett; one daughter, Judy Ladd; two sisters, Dorothy Trainer and Virginia Caruso and one brother, Perry Ford.
She is survived by two sons, Paul Baggett of Heber Springs, Arkansas and Jeffrey Aaron Baggett (Polly) of Heber Springs, Arkansas; one sister, Juanita Sherman of Heber Springs, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and many friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Heber Springs Funeral Home with Bro. Lee Brown officiating. The visitation will be 1:00 pm until service time. Interment will be in Cleburne County Memorial Gardens.
