Ernest Warren Stallings

Ernest Warren Stallings went home to be with our Lord Sunday morning February 13, 2022.

Ernest was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Helen Stallings and his grandson, Joshua Rodgers.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sharon Stallings, his children Mechele Rodgers (Billy), Matthew Stallings (Kristen), his grandchildren, Brendan Rodgers (Victoria), Chloe Stallings, Nicholas Stallings, Benjamin Rodgers and his brother Charles Stallings (Cass).

Ernest served his country proudly in the Army during the Vietnam War.  He spent his life working with his hands as an Automotive Technician.  In retirement, Ernest enjoyed golfing, gardening and volunteering.  He Volunteered at the Heber Springs Humane Society.  His passion was serving his church as a coordinator for the Field of Boaz food pantry, sponsored by the Church of the Nazarene in Heber Springs, AR.

Ernest will be greatly missed.  Everyone who met him, liked him.  He was fun, kind, had a big heart and enjoyed serving others.

A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for Friday, February 18th, 2022. Visitation will be from 10:00am – 11:00am with funeral service immediately following.  Service will be conducted by Pastor Marvin Frederick at the Church of the Nazarene, 206 8th Street, Heber Springs, AR 72543.  Ernest will be laid to rest at the Cleburne County Memorial Gardens in Heber Springs, AR.
