Ernest Dean Davis, age 82, of Edgemont, Arkansas, passed away April 25, 2021 at Baptist Medical Hospital in Heber Springs. He was born August 26, 1938 to the late T.C. Davis and Gracie Fox.

He enjoyed rodeoing, coon hunting, and other types of hunting, raising a garden, building and fixing all types of things. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially the grandkids and great-grandkids.

Dean was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Stone Davis; his parents; nine brothers, and two sisters.

He is survived by two sons, Roger Davis of Enola, Arkansas, and Ronnie Davis of Little Rock, Arkansas; two daughters, Linda Vaughan (Tommy) of Tumbling Shoals, Arkansas, and Sandy Davis of Heber Springs, Arkansas; one brother, Clyde Davis of St. Maries, Idaho; four grandchildren, Rushay Nowlin, Bradley Davis, Casey Peel, and Holly Martin; and eight great-grandchildren, Madi Nowlin, Katie Nowlin, Draven Rimmer, Joselyn Nowlin, Hailey Carr, Aspen Peel, Carl Davis, and Issac Davis and many other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the Heber Springs Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Brad Johnson officiating.
