Ella Louise Frye, age 97, of Manila, Arkansas died Thursday, April 17, 2025 at the Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Ella was born February 23, 1928 in Blytheville, Arkansas, but was raised in Manila to the late German and Mergie White Wilson. She had four siblings.

Louise was married to Carlos Frye for 67 years and had four children, Carlos Jr, Earnest Lee, Glenda, and Dennis. She lived many years in Manila before moving to Greers Ferry. She was a talented seamstress at several factories before establishing an upholstery business. She took pride in the work and created some excellent boat, pontoon, automotive and home makeovers. She was taught from an early age to work hard and strive for excellence. She loved her family and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her husband; her oldest son; her parents; two brothers, and two sisters.

Louise is survived by two sons, Earnest Lee (Betty) of Manila, and Dennis (Pat) of Auburn Hills, Michigan; one daughter, Glenda (Harvey) of Edgemont; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
