She and Jerry had two daughters, Jo Ann and Jerilyn, and were active members of First Presbyterian Church in Natchez. She spent over 30 years working at Britton & Koontz Bank and considered many of her customers as friends. She especially loved Christmas and buying presents for everyone. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed making cakes for family and friends for birthdays and special occasions. Everyone loved receiving one of her special cakes! She had a green thumb and took a lot of pride in her plants and yard. Her pets were also an important part of her life and brought her so much joy. Edith Rose will be remembered for her kindness and thoughtfulness to her family, friends and all that knew and loved her.
