Donna “Rooster” Ruth Simpson age 71 was born March 31,1952 in East St Louis, Illinois, and went to be with the Lord on December 1, 2023, surrounded by her children. She enjoyed visits from her grandchildren and watching Hallmark Christmas movies.

She was preceded in death by her parents Troy Leonard and Yvonne Herman, Husband Francis Simpson, and a grandson Toby Leonard.

Left to cherish her memories are her children Michael – Miranda Leonard, Billy – Linda Simpson, Davin – Nickie Simpson, Anna Melton, Margie Simpson, and Paul Simpson, Sister Deborah – Jerry Horn, 11 grandchildren, and 20 greatgrandchildren, and a host of others who knew her as Meme.
