Deneyce had a wonderfully full life. She was a loving wife to her husband Cheyenne for 33 years of marriage. They enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and all sorts of outdoor activities together. Together they raised 4 children, who had no shortage of love and guidance.
Deneyce was truly an animal lover, having an amazing way with nearly every animal she encountered. She lovingly raised birds, deer, raccoons, squirrels, cats, dogs, and horses throughout her life. She even helped rehabilitate many dogs at a local animal shelter. Deneyce was a lifelong artist. She had a knack for drawing, painting, and even airbrushing, however, she discovered her artistic calling when she took up taxidermy. She proved to be a natural, and quickly became one of the best whitetail deer taxidermists in Louisiana and Mississippi. Deneyce was among the hardest of workers holding many different jobs over the years. She worked at drug stores, banks, country clubs, city halls, marinas, and many more places lucky enough to have her. She was always willing to lend an ear to those who needed help, guidance, or just love. She was a mentor to many young people in her life who all benefited from her sincere care. She will be dearly missed, forever loved, and fondly remembered by all that knew her.
