David Eugene Umfleet

David Eugene Umfleet, age 72, of Heber Springs, passed away Monday, April 21, 2025 at Baptist Health in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born December 22, 1952 in Fredericktown, Missouri to the late Alvin Vernon Umfleet and Fay Lorraine Matthews. 

David enjoyed cooking, especially for friends and family. He loved to fish as much as he could. He also loved gardening and hanging out with his granddaughter, Kinslee. 

He is preceded in death by his parents. 

David is survived by his wife, Tanya Kristina Umfleet; two daughters, Kady Pilkington (Trey) of Conway, Arkansas and Melissa Hampton (Tim) of Fredericktown, Missouri; two brothers, Gary Umfleet (Donna), and Richard Umfleet (Kathy); sister, Connie Hahn (Norman); and granddaughter, Kinslee Pilkington; and many extended family members and wonderful friends.  He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
