David Wayne Hood, age 55, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away at his home on September 29, 2022. He was born on June 19, 1967 in Jasper, Alabama to the late Burt Hood and Geraldine Marrs Hood.

David worked as a spot welder for MEC in Heber Springs for many years. He was passionately in love with his wife Carol, who he married in 2005. He loved to spend time with her and watch Chicago PD on television. David also had two cats, Lola and Cleo, that he loved like his own children. He loved to shop for pickup trucks, go to casinos, and eat anything with chocolate in it.

David is preceded in death by parents; and one brother, Jerry Hood.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Carol; two half-brothers, Tommy Hood of Cordova, Alabama, and David Odom of Jacksonville, Florida; his step mother, Joan Hood of Cordova, Alabama; and his mother-in-law, Cynthia Edwards of Heber Springs, Arkansas.

The Memorial Service is 1:00pm, Saturday, October 08, 2022 at Heber Springs Funeral Home.
