Cleburne Glosser, age 78, of Quitman, Arkansas, passed away, Sunday, January 26, 2025 at Baptist Health in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born February 3, 1946 in Searcy, Arkansas to the late Ferris Wesley Glosser and Ruby French Glosser. 

Cleburne served our great country in the United States Army from 1966-1967. He was a Vietnam Veteran in the 9th Infantry in the Mekong Delta.  He was awarded two Purple Hearts and an Army Commendation Medal of Valor. He had a funny and lovable personality. He was so blunt, he didn’t beat-around-the-bush if he had something to say and people appreciated that about him. His best friends in the world were Jake Foster and Roger Chalk. 

Cleburne enjoyed the outdoors especially if it involved hunting, fishing, taking his dog, Nala, around the block in his truck, or working meticulously in his garden.  Every year he would grow more than enough food just so he could give it away. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ferris and Ruby Glosser; three brothers, William Glosser, Ferris Glosser Jr., and Bob Glosser; and sister, Velma Coker.

Cleburne is survived by his wife, Wilma Jane Swafford Glosser; son, Junior Glosser of Quitman, Arkansas; daughter, Tonya Elsberry (Travis) of Searcy, Arkansas; three brothers, Doug Glosser, Charley Glosser, and Doc Glosser; four sisters, Betty Lane, Shirley Ramsey, Geneva Fry, and Mildred Brennan; three grandchildren, Ty Morgan, Abigail Morgan, and Ethan Elsberry; and his dog, Nala. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
