Carole Ann Jowers Walker, age 79, of Heber Springs, Arkansas passed away October 20, 2021 at Conway Regional Hospital in Conway, Arkansas. She was born January 8, 1942 in Newport, Arkansas the daughter of the late James Augustus “Gus” Jowers and Eleanor Parish Jowers.

Carole loved her family and enjoyed every opportunity to talk and spend time with them.  She also loved her many friends and her precious cats.  She was an avid Razorback fan and enjoyed rooting on her many other favorite teams.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Walker; and one brother, Jim Jowers, Jr.

Survivors include; one son, Hunter Ward (Patty) of Sugar Land, Texas; one daughter, Jo Anne Wyatt (Adrain) of Heber Springs, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Alex Wyatt (Alysa) of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, and Lauren Martin (Brett) and Chase Ward (Alex) of Dallas, Texas; bonus grandkids, Matt Ward of Cabot, Arkansas; Jenny Brown, of Key Largo, Florida; sister- in- law, Sissy Jowers of Little Rock, Arkansas; nephew, Jason Jowers of Vilonia, Arkansas; 11 great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Heber Springs Funeral Home with Brad Sneed officiating. Interment will follow at the Arkansas Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock at 1:00 pm. Arrangements are by Heber Springs Funeral Home, 1199 Wilburn Road, Heber Springs, Arkansas.  The family requests that any memorial tributes be made to the charity of your choice.
