Carletta Jo Hayes Duncan, age 72, of Greenbrier, Arkansas passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Baptist Hospital in Conway, Arkansas. She was born June 29, 1947, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late John Kenneth and Margaret Mahan Hayes. Carletta was a homemaker and a faithful member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Greenbrier, Arkansas.
She enjoyed cooking, traveling, shopping and she loved going on cruises. Most of all she loved the Lord. She was an excellent mother and wanted to influence her children and grandchildren to be the best they could be. She was known as the best Carnana and Nana in the world to her grandchildren and was dearly loved by all of her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of forty years, John Farmer and a brother Ronnie Hayes.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Lynn Duncan of Greenbrier, Arkansas; two daughters, Shelley Farmer of Crosby, Texas and Amy Lynch (Tad) of Beebe, Arkansas; two sons, Wade Farmer (Tammie) of Plumerville, Arkansas and Daniel Farmer (Carol) of Sulphur Springs, Texas; two brothers, David Hayes (Connie) of North Little Rock, Arkansas and Donnie Hayes (Karen) of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; two sisters, Sue Berg(Butch) of Inola, Oklahoma and Deborah Crum of Braggs, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren and many friends.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 28 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Greenbrier, Arkansas . Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM until service time. Interment will be in Plumerville Cemetery , Plumerville, Arkansas.
