Carl Otwell Obituary

Carl Lynn Otwell, age 75, of Greers Ferry, Arkansas, passed away May 24, 2022 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Conway, Arkansas. He was born in Richmond, California on March 11, 1947 to the late Lynn Otwell and Vervice McGhee Otwell of Monticello, Arkansas.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Janet Otwell; a sister, Denice Coston; two nephews, and many many friends.

“Catfish Carl”, as he was known by his friends, had a great love for the lake, fishing, boating, and enjoying all things outdoors.

A Celebration of Life and Fish Fry for Carl will be held at 2:00pm, June 11, 2022. This event is hosted by Doug and Brenda Mayhew at the Shipwreck Lounge at 253 Resort Rd., Higden, Arkansas.
