Bryan Riley Stowe, age 75 passed away January 20, 2021 at his residence in Heber Springs. He was born February 16, 1945 in Millington, Tennessee, the son of the late Willie Faye and Martha Davis Stowe. He was a member of the Navy Reserves.
He had a passion for cars and loved drag racing. His family said he was the Godfather of transmissions and mechanically could do almost anything. Bryan was a history buff, especially World War II, and a great storyteller. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be truly missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Jean; his parents; and son-in-law, Thomas Hall.
Survivors include one son; Bryan Stowe, Jr. (Tiffany) of Searcy, Arkansas; two daughters, Laurie Hall and Lisa Butkovich (Craig) both of Heber Springs; one brother, David Stowe (Sharon) of Heber Springs; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and many friends.
There will be a visitation 10:00 AM Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Heber Springs Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at Good Springs Cemetery near Heber Springs. Arrangements are by Heber Springs Funeral Home, 1199 Wilburn Road, Heber Springs, Arkansas. 501-887-9152
