Bonita Karen Mead

Bonita Karen McKenna Mead, age 69, of Quitman, Arkansas passed away May 1, 2020 at Baptist Health in Conway, Arkansas. She was born June 29, 1950 in Los Angeles, California the daughter of the late Pete and Bonnie Hall McKenna. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.

Bonita was always involved in helping others. She loved taking care of her flowers and most of all loved taking care her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Timmy Carson and Randy Roskoff.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Mead, whom she married November 3, 1968; four sons, Terry Mead (Chris) of Pawnee Rock, KS , Mitchell Mead of Quitman, Jerry Mead (Karole) of Great Bend, KS and John Mead of Quitman, AR; three daughters, Joan Rupp (Patrick) of Dodge City, KS and Tammy Hefner of Greers Ferry, AR and Cassie Pool  of Searcy, AR; one sister, Anita Helms of Great Bend, KS; three brothers, Bobby Hall of Augusta, KS, Charles Roskoff of Oregon, and Henry Dale of Michigan; Grandsons, Tyler Trantham (Mika) of Junction City, KS,  Travis Trantham of Dodge City, KS, Kaden Pool of Searcy, AR, Hunter Randall of Greenbrier, AR, Richard Mead of Manhatten, KS and Colby Mead of Cookville, TN; Granddaughters, Kaylin Randall of Greenbrier, AR, Trixsi Purdy of Seatle, WA, Doreena Rodrigues-Lewis of St.George, UT, Brandy Mead of Pawnee Rock, KS, Brooklyn Mead of Larned,KS, and Karlee Dougherty of Great Bend, KS; Sophee Mead of Greenbrier, AR and Great-Granddaughter Nalia Rodrigues-Lewis of St. George, UT and many friends.
