Bobby Wayne “Robert” Fisher, age 71, of Heber Springs, Arkansas passed away March 16, 2020 at Stonebridge Assisted Living. He was born April 10, 1948 in Newport, Arkansas the son of the late Dorsie Edward Fisher and Josephine Ussery Fisher. He was a US Army Veteran and of the Methodist faith.
He was a good-hearted man and would do anything for anybody. He worked as a heat and air technician from the late 1960’s to the early 1990’s. Later he owned his own construction business. He loved the construction business. He was a hard-working man that cared deeply for his family.
In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Dorsie Edward Fisher, Jr. and Bryan Fisher; three sisters, Wanda Foust, Barbara Dunlap and Lynn Fisher.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Weeks Fisher of Heber Springs; two sons, Travis Fisher and wife Charity of Heber Springs, AR and Lance Fisher of Texas; one daughter, Kim Holland of Conway, AR; two sisters, Debby Fisher Ogle and husband Jackie of Heber Springs, AR and Glynn Evans Martindill and husband Randy of Heber Springs, AR; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other extended family members and friends.
There will be a visitation held 11:00 am to 12:00 noon on Friday, March 20, 2020 at Heber Springs Funeral Home Chapel with services beginning at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Cleburne County Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers are Brent Foust, Nathan Foust, Chad Evans, Brad Evans, Eric Dunlap, Justin Ogle and Clint McLaren.
