Bob Harper, age 86, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026. He was born at home in DeSoto, Missouri on March 2, 1940 to the late Otis Harper and Lorene Wilkson Harper.
Bob was a loving son, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His favorite hobbies were fishing, golfing, hunting, & spending time with his family & friends.
Bob is preceded in death by his mother, Lorene (Harper) Jonas; his father, Otis Harper; brothers, Bill, David, and Paul Harper; brother-in-law, Dale Shelley; sisters, Dixie Lee Harper and Shelby Shelley; and daughter, Tammy Burnley.
Bob is survived by his son, Jeff Harper, and Jeff’s wife, Misty; son, Steve Harper, and Steve’s wife, Jessica. Bob is also survived by his bonus sons, Daniel “Mack” Hunt and JB Hunt; his bonus daughter, Adrianne Wells; sister, Donna Nickelson; brother-in-law, Bill Nickelson; sister-in-laws, Mickey, Janice, and Ruth Harper; grandsons, Ryan, Brandon, and Blake Harper, Aaron & Blake Bigelow, and Josh Burnley; granddaughters, Kandace Keeney, Lexie Burnley, and Sidney Bowring, and many great-grandkids, relatives, and friends.
A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at the Shiloh Crossroads and Community Church, located at 659 Crossroads, Higden, AR. Memorial and cemetery services will follow with Reverend, Jarad Harper, officiating.
