Billie Dean Wilson, age 91, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Southridge Village Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Pangburn, Arkansas on August 21, 1932 to the late Sanford Atkins and Marie Howell Atkins. She was of the Baptist faith. 

Billie married the love of her life, Hubert Wilson, in 1954 and had a wonderful marriage until his passing in 2015. Billie enjoyed gardening and loved to travel and take pictures that captured many wonderful memories that she leaves to her family. 

She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and four siblings, Odean Atkins, Harlen Atkins, Murl Atkins, and Vickie Atkins.

Billie is survived by eight siblings, Oneda Atkins of Pangburn, Arkansas, Wilbur Atkins (Sue) of St. Louis, Missouri, Carthel Atkins of Clarkton, Missouri, Raymond Atkins (Phi) of St. Louis, Missouri, Brenda Lancaster of Mablevale, Arkansas, Phyllis Russ of Pennsylvania, Arthur Atkins of Dexter, Missouri, and Stanley Atkins (Marolyn) of Dexter, Missouri; and many extended family members and wonderful friends. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.      

Visitation is 9:30 AM, Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Heber Springs Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 10:00 AM officiated by Bro. Kenneth Roland. The interment is at Henderson Cemetery in Pangburn, Arkansas.
