Billie Jean Allen, age 92, of Heber Springs, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Southridge Nursing and Rehab. She was born March 8, 1932 in Heber Springs to the late Audley Hazlewood and Opal Gaye. She was a member of Sugarloaf Baptist Church. 

Billie Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Everett C. Allen; and her parents.

She is survived by her son, Danny Allen (Diane) of Jacksonville, Alabama; her daughter, Tamara Schwere (Gary) of Nogales, Arizona; brother, James Hazlewood of Lafayette, Indiana; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. 

Billie Jean loved to study the Bible and listen to gospel music. She enjoyed spending time and having fun times with her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her. 

There will be a Celebration of Life for both Billie and Everett Allen at Sugarloaf Baptist Church, Wednesday, July 24th at 11:00 am. Everyone is invited. Both of them were a wonderful example of Christ. They were loved deeply by our family and by so many over the years in this community.
