Betty Sue Rush, age 60, of Heber Springs, passed away, Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at Baptist Health in Conway, Arkansas. She was born July 9, 1965 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Benny Rush and Marilyn Ruth Yonker Rush. She was a member of Pine St. Church of Christ in Heber Springs. 

Betty was a loving mother, sister, and the best Nana! She was full of laughter and lit up every room. She made everything more beautiful. She loved working in her flower garden and watching birds, especially hummingbirds. But most of all, she loved the Lord and His church.

She is preceded in death by her parents Benny and Marilyn Rush.

Betty is survived by her son, David Hampton of Paragould, Arkansas; her daughter, Rachel Knabe (Cameron) of Paragould, Arkansas; sister, Mandi Underwood (Tony) of Tillar, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Leon, Silas, and Henry; and many extended family members and wonderful friends. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.  

A Memorial Service is planned for 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Heber Springs Funeral Home with Paul McLendon and Mike Ireland officiating.
