Betty Ann Lindsey, 81, went to be with the Lord on March 22, 2026 at her home after a long but courageous battle with endless health issues. She was born May 15,1944 in Corinth, Mississippi to the late Freeman Hurst and Myrtle Roberson.

Betty grew up in Memphis Tennessee and attended Humes High School before going to work at South Central Bell Telephone Company in the accounting department. She met her husband,
Terry in June of 1977 and married in September of 1978. Betty was promoted to Data Center Manager for Bell South Headquarters and transferred to Birmingham Alabama in 1988, retiring in 1992 and moving back to Edgemont Arkansas. In 1992, Betty began working with M.A.D.D. and was the Executive Director for the State of Arkansas, retiring in 1999. After some rest and relaxation, she took on a new role as the Drug and Alcohol Coordinator for the court system in Cleburne, Stone and Van Buren counties.

Betty loved spending time with family and friends, sharing her passion for classic cars, attending car shows throughout the country. She looked forward to Cruisin the Coast car show and would begin preparing for that particular show a year in advance and counting down the days. From 2000 to 2025 she only missed two shows. Hurricane Katrina canceled one show and her health prevented her from attending the other show.

Betty is survived by her husband of forty seven years, Terry Lindsey of Edgemont, Arkansas, daughters Melanie Rome (Alan) of Metarie Louisiana, Michelle Blasi (Lance) of Bella Vista Arkansas, and preceded in death Kerry Malina Poole of Edgemont, Arkansas, grandsons Noah Stubbs (Bailey) and Samuel Stubbs, as well as extended family and car show friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held April 11, 2026 at Heber Springs Funeral Home beginning at 11 am with Brother Mike Yarman presiding over the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations made to the American Heart Association.
