Betty Ruth James

Betty Ruth James, age 93, of Heber Springs, Arkansas passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Baptist Hospital Medical Center in Heber Springs. She was born September 27, 1927, in Senath, Missouri the daughter of the late Andy Joseph White and Willie Viola Coker White.

Betty was a homemaker and loved children. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary. Everybody that she came into contact with loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William James; her parents; six brothers, Clarence, Clyde, Andy, Harold and Bobby White and one sister, Hazel Capehart.

Survivors include one son, Roger Shaw of Kokomo, Indiana; brother, Edwin White of California; three sisters, Allie Meingasner of Missouri, Joyce Crump of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Joan England of Monticello, Arkansas; nephew, Andy White  (Kris); grandchildren, Samatha Biggs and Gary Shaw; great-grandchildren, Briana Conners, Bryston Shaw, Tasha Biggs, Alex Biggs and Kelsie Leigh Biggs and many friends.

 A Funeral Service will be  11:00 am, Monday, December 21 at Heber Springs Funeral Home Chapel . Interment will be in Cleburne County Memorial Cemetery.
