Barbara Janice White

Barbara Janice Dodd White, age 85, passed away May 6, 2021 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born December 13, 1935 in Kedron, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Dodd and Gradie Beatrice Harden Dodd.

She was raised in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and graduated from Pine Bluff High School. She started her work career at Arkansas Power and Light/Entergy and worked for them for over 35 years. After her retirement she made Heber Springs, Arkansas her home until her death.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Lynne Kirkpatrick; her sister and brother-in-law, Kathryn and Bob Manning; and three brothers; Donald “Buddy” Dodd, David Dodd, and Phillip Dodd.

Survivors include two daughters, Dana White Yarbrough of Pratt, Kansas and JoAnn White Paschal of Hot Springs, Arkansas; grandchildren, Chad (Carrie) Kirkpatrick, Amanda Kirkpatrick, Justin Yarbrough, Magan (Marc) Becker, and Nicholas Paschal; Ten great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Graveside Service will be 2:00 PM, Monday, May 10, 2021 at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, south of Pine Bluff, Arkansas with Bro. Wes Sparks officiating.

Arrangements are by Heber Springs Funeral Home, 1199 Wilburn Road, Heber Springs, Arkansas.
