Barbara June McDonald

Barbara June King McDonald, age 87, of Heber Springs passed away June 20, 2020 at Baptist Health Hospital in Heber Springs. She was born February 5, 1933 in Bryson, Texas to the late Arnie L. King and Winnie King. She was a good-hearted person and helped everyone she could. She loved playing bingo at the senior citizens center and loved spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles McDonald; her parents, Arna and Winnie Shuck King; two sisters, Wanda Gunter and Genieva King; one daughter, Terry Thompson; and one son, Lynn Thompson.

Survivors include one sister, Diena Perkins (Mike) of Lakeworth, Texas; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two great-great grandchildren, and other extended family members and friends.
