Aubrey Looney

Aubrey Earl Looney age 67 of Greers Ferry, Arkansas passed away October 4, 2020 at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee December 3, 1952, the son of the late Junius and Lue Emma Maddox Looney. He was of the Baptist faith and a Vietnam Army Veteran.

He loved collecting, building and restoring hot rods. He was very proud of his cooking and even won first place in a Memphis Barbeque contest for his sauce. He loved being out on the lake, especially skiing and fishing. Most of all he deeply loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Howard Lester and James Hines Looney.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Lee Edwards Looney; one son, Philip Looney of Memphis, Tennessee; one step-daughter, Hayley Hogue of Marshall, Arkansas; one step-son, Thurman T. Hogue of Marshall, Arkansas; one sister, Regina Looney Teuscher (Drew) of Arlington, Tennessee and many friends.

A visitation will be held 1:00 – 2:00 pm, Friday, October9, 2020 at Heber Springs Funeral Home prior to service time at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Shiloh Crossroads Cemetery in Greers Ferry, Arkansas.
