Alfred Kay Mansell, age 95, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022 at his home in Ward, Arkansas. He was born February 08, 1927 in Arkoma, Oklahoma to the late Albert L. Mansell and Oma L. Patterson.
Kay was a Southern Baptist minister since 1947 until he retired from pastoring in 1992. He loved to spread the Word of God and tell people about the love the Christ. He loved to sing. He was a carpenter and a gardener.
Kay is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret E. Hill; his parents; one brother, Rutherford James Mansell; and one grandson, Jeremy.
He is survived by two sons, David Mansell (Michele) of Ft. Smith, Arkansas and Jonathan Mansell of Ward, Arkansas; two daughters, Charisha Rey of Cabot, Arkansas, and Melenie Furnell (David) of Ward, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Christina, Joshua, Christopher, Daniel, Chrisana, Libby, Brent, and Blake.
The Memorial Service for Kay is 10:30 A.M., Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Sugarloaf Baptist Church. Bro. Tony Criswell is officiating.
