Alene Ford Brock

Alene Ford Brock, age 92, of Heber Springs, Arkansas passed away June 13, 2020 at Southridge Nursing Home. She was born January 14, 1928 in Fredericktown, Missouri the daughter of the late Thomas Francis Ford and Lula Bell Watson Ford. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Heber Springs.

Alene and Joe moved to Heber Springs in 1973 and opened Aljo’s Clothing and Gift Shop. Later she went to work with her husband at Brock Real Estate and worked there until they retired because of health issues in 1992.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Brock; her parents, Tom and Lula Ford; brother, Bill Ford; three sisters, Rose Ford, Arlene Landrus and Colleen Graves.

Survivors include her daughter, Nanette Smith (Bill) of Diamondhead, Mississippi; two granddaughters, Haley and Nicole Alsbrook and four great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am, Monday, June 22, 2020 at Cleburne County Memorial Gardens in Heber Springs with Rev. Tommy Toombs officiating.
