Steve Edward Stephens age 69 of Heber Springs, Arkansas passed away at his residence July 30, 2018. He was born January 29, 1949 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late R. E. Stephens and Billie Emison Stephens. He was a U. S. Army Veteran serving for 5 1/2 years. He was of the Catholic faith . Steve was employed as a fireman in Little Rock, Arkansas for 31 years before his retirement.

Steve hobbies included hunting, fishing, golfing and traveling.

He is survived by his wife Jeanette Kocourek Stephens; sons, Russell Stephens of Sherwood, Arkansas, Terry Sells of Almyra, Arkansas and Greg Johnson of Stuttgart, Arkansas; two daughters, Melissa and Stephanie; mother, Billie Emison Stephens; four grandchildren and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be 10:00 am, Friday, August 3, 2018 at Heber Springs Funeral Home.
