Roy Elmer Walker

Roy Elmer Walker, age 83, of Beebe, Arkansas formerly of Heber Springs, Arkansas passed away September 4, 2017. Born  June 28, 1934 in Heber Springs, Arkansas he was the son of the late Elmer and Haynie Norton Walker. He was a truck driver for Overnight Transportation until his retirement and of the Baptist faith.

R.E. enjoyed  riding motorcycles, fishing, playing guitar and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents he is  preceded in death by his wife, Willma Walker and a daughter Rhonda Lutts.

Left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Carolyn Lynn and husband Charles of Nixa, Missouri and JoAnn  Lafferty of Cabot, Arkansas; 6 grandchildren, Billie Lutts, Nick Lafferty, Charissa Foster, Megan Lynn, Carter Lynn and Adam Lynn;  7 great-grandchildren, Brandon Lutts, Hunter Lutts, Caden Lafferty, Peyton Foster, Natalie Foster, Keylee Foster, Easton Foster and many friends.

Service time will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Heber Springs Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 1:00 noon to service time.
