Robert E. Lieblong, 91, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2018, at Baptist Health Medical Center Heber Springs. He was born April 17, 1927, in Conway, AR to Carrie May Lieblong and William Lieblong. He was the youngest of eight siblings.
Bob, as he was known, obtained his Bachelor’s degree at Arkansas Teachers College, now the University of Central Arkansas, and had multiple roles in the education field. He then became a member of the Signal Corp in the United States Army, from which he received many accommodations. After leaving the service, he became a pharmaceutical sales representative and retired from that field. Bob had an adventurous spirit, and shared many fascinating stories about his life. He cared deeply for his family, and had a generous nature. He always tried to fulfil God’s purpose for his life.
Robert was preceded in death by his first wife Gloria, his parents, and siblings. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Shirley, two step-daughters, Stephanie Vernon (Jamie), and Monica Kramolis (Andy); four grandchildren, AzaLeah, Tylar, Arwen, and Brodie; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
Visitation hours will be 10:00 to 11:00 am, Saturday, at Heber Springs Church of the Nazarene. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the Church with Bro. Marvin Frederick officiating. Interment will be in Cleburne County Memorial Gardens in Heber Springs.
