Mary Estelle Poe was born January 14, 1957 in Kokomo, Indiana and entered into eternal rest on March 8, 2019 at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 62.
Mary was the daughter of Raymond and Ena Turner. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Billy Turner.
She is survived by her husband Michael Poe of Heber Springs, one son, Jacob Michael Poe of Heber Springs, one sister, Dorothy Ashley of Missouri, and one brother, Johnny Turner of Kokomo, Indiana, and a host of family and friends.
Mary was a loving wife and mother. She was always so very proud to testify of the love she had for her savior Jesus Christ, her husband Mike and son Michael.
She was a longtime faithful member of Victory Missionary Baptist Church of Heber Springs. Mary was a Sunday School Teacher for many years at her church. She loved studying her Bible and was very knowledgeable concerning the word of the Lord. She loved to sing and always loved singing special.
During Mary’S working years she was employed at Heber Springs Schools in the cafeteria and also later worked at the Circle of Love Daycare. Mary loved being able to work with the children.
