Harold Lee Roberts

Mr. Harold Lee Roberts age 73 of Pangburn, Arkansas passed away November 29, 2019 at his residence. He was born October 3, 1946 in Little Rock, Arkansas the son of the late Fred and Velma Viola Black Hawthorn. He was a retired pharmaceutical sales representative.

His hobbies included fishing, cooking, and making jelly. He was very active in Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous and supported many others in recovery. He loved exotic hats and sunglasses and was a dog lover. Mr. Roberts had a great sense of humor and was a man of many stories who never met a stranger. He dearly loved his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Logan Nelson.

Survivors include his wife Elizabeth Anne Sims Roberts whom he married December 23, 2000; one step-son, David Moriarty (Cynthia) of Smyrna, TN; one step-daughter, Danette Thomason (Tony) of Cabot, AR; one brother, Freddie Roberts (Mary Ann) Corinth, MS; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and many friends.

A Memorial Gathering will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Heber Springs Funeral Home Chapel.
