Emojean Lockard

Heavens golden gates opened wide last night as the angel sang. Our loving mother and grandma went to be with the Lord! Our hearts are broken because we will miss her, but we know she is smiling in Heaven because she finally made it home. We hold you close in our hearts until we meet again.

Emojean S. Lockard, age 89 of Prim, Arkansas went to be with the Lord April 10, 2017 in Conway, Arkansas. She was born in Prim, Arkansas February 27, 1928.  She attended the Prim Full Gospel Church most of her life.

Emojean enjoyed gardening, reading the Bible and going to Church. She dearly loved her family and kept them in her prayers continually.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Lockard whom she married November 19, 1943; four brothers and one sister.

Left to cherish her memory are four sons, Dale Lockard  and Larry Lockard (Karen) both of Little Rock, AR, Dwane Lockard (Jo) of Fairfield Bay, AR and Lynn Lockard (Vicky) of Heber Springs, AR; one daughter, Charlotte Chance of Heber Springs, AR; eleven grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and many friends.

Services will be 10:00 am, Friday, April 14, 2017 at Hilltop Holiness Church in Prim with Brother Dennis Knapp and Shane Parish officiating . Visitation hours will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Heber Springs Funeral Home. Interment will be in Everett Cemetery near Prim.
