Denise. I just found out about your dad’s passing and wanted you to know he was one of the finest and kindest friend and colleague I have ever had the honor to work with. I worked the midnight shift many times with him at the VA and he taught me so much. He would fix a new recipe for you and if you liked it he would share it with me. We always had a ball. He even gave me a demo record of him playing drums with J Frank Wilson. I still have that and is my ringtone cause it always reminds me of him. I know how much you must miss him. You were his golden light. I moved away in 83 but when I moved back to Arkansas in 2011 the second person I went to see was him and the first was Charlie Bishop who took me to Heber to have lunch with Chet. He was one of a kind and wished I had gotten back up there to visit again. He will always be in my heart and thoughts. Bernice

Denise, I am so sorry for your loss. I just found out of his passing today from Jim Smith. He was a great friend for many years and will be sorely missed and am truly sorry it had been so long since we had seen each other.

I am so very sorry to hear about Chester. We grew up together a long time ago. Sadly I had not see Chester in many tears, but we did keep in touch on Facebook. My sincere condolences to his family and friends

Denise I am so sorry to hear of Chet's passing. He trained me at the VA. Though some of his methods were unorthodox that just made it that much more fun. I haven't seen Chet since he retired but I will still miss him. I will keep you in my thoughts.
