Bobby Eugene Woodard

Bobby E. Woodard age 88 of Heber Springs went to be with the Lord February 28, 2017 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born August 4, 1928 in Steele, Missouri he was the son of the late Clarence and Elizabeth Bunn Woodard. He was an active member of Sugarloaf Baptist Church where he served as deacon.

During his working years he was a market manager for Malone and Hyde Security Service. His hobbies included fishing and sharing Jesus with everyone. He dearly loved his family and church family.

Mr. Woodard was preceded in death by his wife Mary Lee Woodard; sister, Louise Burrow and great-grandchildren, Dharma, Stella and Liza Drude.

Left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Gwendolyn Anthony (Robert) of Collierville, TN and Marilyn Sue Branson of Montgomery, Texas; two sisters, Jackey Peterson (Glenn) of Wardell, Missouri and Bettye Johnson of Jonesboro, Arkansas; grandchildren, Kimberlee Kee, Tracey Remscheid, Chelsea Burns, Jenica Campbell, Janet Branson and Jennifer Drude; twelve great-grandchildren and many, many friends.

Visitation hours  will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm,  Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Heber Springs Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Friday, March 3, 2017 at Sugarloaf Baptist Church in Heber Springs with Brother Tony Criswell officiating. Interment will be in Cleburne County Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
