William Hilton Brown, age 84, passed away March 27, 2011 in Heber Springs, AR. He was born September 24, 1926 to Joseph and Dolly Brown in Cabot, AR. He was World War II Navy Veteran . He also was retired from the National Guard and the Heber Springs Police Department where he served for 20 years, 11 years as Police Chief.
He was an avid coin collector, a Mason, and a member of the Arkansas Municipal Police Association.
He is survived by two sons,Joseph Brown and wife Shelly of Heber Springs, AR, and Michael Taylor also of Heber Springs, AR; one daughter, Valena Dalley of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Dolly Brown; five brothers and one sister.
