Toby Francis Simpson Leonard, age 14, went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 27, 2011 in Heber Springs, Arkansas. He was born September 24, 1997 in Batesville, Arkansas.
Toby first and foremost loved the Lord, even carrying his Bible with him to school, he loved baseball, excelling as a second baseman. He was a very caring person always looking out for others, always happy, and wanted everyone around him to also be happy, he loved reading and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Quitman First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his parents Michael and Miranda Leonard of Heber Springs, three brothers, Blake and Branden Leonard of Heber Springs, and Paul Simpson of Van Buren, Arkansas, Grandparents, Donna Simpson of Heber Springs, Burlon and Joyce Burmingham of Heber Springs, Douglas and Marquita Foster of Heber Springs, great-grandmother, Mary Jane Elkins of Tumbling Shoals, and Great Grand parents, Bruce and Opal Jones of Heber Springs, and great-grandmother, Villa Lovin of Quitman, Arkansas, he is also survived by his cousins, aunts and uncles and a host of friends.
A visitation will be Friday, December 2, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. at the First Assembly of God in Heber Springs, AR, a funeral service will be held Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. also at the First Assembly of God Church. Please sign online guestbook at
