Richard Harold Clement, age 77, passed away January 19, 2011 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born July 17, 1933 to Frank and Ruth Clement in Henry County, Tennessee. He was a Veteran of the US Army serving his country proudly. He was also tool and die maker with the Nylint Corporation in Illinois for many years. He was a Church of Christ Minister and served as elder in the Heber Springs Christian Church. Richard loved to travel, sing and enjoyed gardening. He truly loved people and dearly loved his many grandkids and family and loved sharing the love of Jesus Christ and ministering to others.
Survivors include by his wife of 22 years, Jessie “Tommie” Clement of Heber Springs, AR; four daughters, Hazel Dunham and husband Ricky of Bella Vista, AR, Neta Clement of San Antonio, TX, Sheron Bates of Memphis, TN, Denise Winkler and husband Randy of Cabot, AR and Lou Gene Eawin and husband Richard of Decatur, Ill; four sons, David Garrison and wife Courtney of Rockford, Ill, Tommy Baser and wife Terri of Heber Springs, AR, Virgil Baser and wife Beverly of Woodstock, Ill and Lonnie Masters of Rockford, Ill; one brother, Dan Clement and wife Earlene of St. Louis, MO; two sisters, Bettye Clement of Denver, CO and Carolyn Parent of Bartlett, TN and sister-in-law, Vernell Clement of Tullahoma, TN; twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ruth Clement; his first wife, Dorothy Bernadean Clement and one brother, Frank Clement.
A Visitation will be held 5:00 to 8:00 pm, Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Heber Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Monday, January 24, 2011 at Heber Springs Christian Church in Heber Springs, Arkansas.
