Tina Jones Marshall (Russell), went home to be with the Lord March 12, 2017, at 3:49 p.m. at her son’s home in Heber Springs, Arkansas. A memorial service will be held March 25, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Pangburn School Performing Arts Center with Bro. Ronnie Freeman officiating. Tina was born August 2, 1962 to Alton and Mardis Jones in Helena, Arkansas. She graduated from Lee High School in 1980 and graduated EACC in 1988 to become a Registered Nurse in which she practiced for over 25 years.

Tina is preceded in death by her mother, Mardis Smith Jones. Tina is survived by her husband Samuel Marshall, Father Alton (Ruth) Jones, Son Aaron (Crystal) Russell, Grandson Rex “Bo” Russell, sisters Jamie Butner, Dana (Boyd) Jones, and Cheryl (Dan) Mitchell. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends.

Tina was a Christian. She had an online mission on Facebook for abused women with over 1,000 members from all over the world. She had also been on a mission trip to Swaziland, Africa and Juarez, Mexico. She planned to attend future mission trips to Africa before she was diagnosed with cancer.
