Sawyer Ryan New

     Sawyer Ryan New age 22 of Quitman passed away May 15, 2016. Born July 7, 1993 in Conway,  he was the son of Stanley Richard  New and Shannon Darlene Stacy New.  He was a construction worker and of the Baptist faith.

     His hobbies were hunting and fishing, football, and baseball. Sawyer loved to cut up with his family and friends, and he enjoyed driving around looking at the scenery. His family stated he was really protective of his brother and mother.

     He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Leon New.

     Survivors include his father, Stanley Richard New of Quitman; mother, Shannon Darlene Stacy New of Ouitman; step-mother, Amy New of Quitman; one brother, Seth Richard New and his fiance, Kelsey Corter, of Heber Springs; one step brother, Devin Brown of Quitman; two step-sisters, Katelyn and Samatha Brown of Quitman; grandparents, Ola Jean Allen and husband Laymon of Quitman, Johnny and Judy Stacy of Little Rock and Barbara and Ellis Gaither of Greenbrier; several extended family members and many friends.
