James Edward Godush

     James Edward Godush, age 76, went to his heavenly home Saturday, August 13^th.  He was born August 15^th, 1939 in St. Joseph, Michigan to the late John Godush and Mabel Beckman.  He was preceded in death by one son, Chris Godush.  James was a devoted member of the Masonic Lodge where he was a 32^nd degree mason.  He loved to spend time in his garden and fishing in a nearby pond and was an avid hunter.  James was a loving husband, father, and a man or great integrity.

     Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of fiftey-five years Mary Godush of Ida, Arkansas; sons, James Godush Steven Godush, and Richard Godush; daughter, Cynthia Dallas; brothers, John Godush, Louie Godush, George Godush, Jerry Godush, David Godush, and Randy Godush; sisters Anna Mae Yaeger and Martha Kavanaugh; along with eleven grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and a host of friends and family that cared for him dearly.

     A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Heber Springs Funeral Home with a visitation an hour prior to the service.  Internment will be at Cleburne County Memorial Gardens in Heber Springs.  Arrangements made by Heber Springs Funeral Home.  Online obit at www.heberspringsfuneralhome.com
