Gary Wayne York

Gary Wayne York, a loving husband, father, and an amazing papa, was 57 years old when he died on December 15, 2017. He was the son of Charles York and Marie Weaver.

Gary was preceded in death by grandparents: Willie and Ethel York and Willie and Zaney Jones; his dad, Charles York; his sister, Teresa York; and niece, Kristen Martin. He is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Laurie York; his children: Cody York and his wife, Rachel, and Courtney Higgs and her husband, Justin; five grandchildren: Landon Higgs, Jaxon York, Kinsley Higgs, Chloe York, and Tycen York; his mother and step-father, Marie and David Weaver; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Larry and Ann Staton; sisters: Linda Cousins and her husband, Artie, and Trena Martin and her husband, Russell; brothers-in-law: Steve Staton, Darren Staton and his wife, Jill, and Shannon Staton and his wife, Shannon; nieces: Jennifer Robbins, Ashley Deckard, Charlie Martin, Kristi Staton, Alex Ross, Ashton Bynum, Alisa Staton, Joey Staton, and Saylor Staton; nephews: Heath Cousins, Matt Deckard, Jamy Robbins, Stacey Staton, Spencer Staton, Blaine Ross, and Jonah Bynum; great-nieces: Madison Robbins and Ashlyn Deckard; great-nephews: Bryar and Braxton Cousins, Tanner and Caden Deckard, and CJ Ross; step-sisters: Debbie Clark and Terrie James; and aunts, uncles, many cousins, and friends.
