David Lewis

David Lewis age 84 of Quitman, Arkansas passed  away September 6, 2017 in Heber Springs. Born September 4, 1933 in Chavies, Kentucky he was the son of the late Elhanon and Susana Napier Lewis. He served in the Air Force until his retirement. He was a POW during the Korean Conflict and a veteran.

His hobbies included flying airplanes, teaching  other to fly planes, playing guitar and keyboards and loved to travel.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rose Lewis and nine brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Judy Turner Lewis of Quitman; one son, Bruce Lewis of Phoenix, AZ; one daughter, Sandra Lewis Harshbarger and husband Brent of Panama, FL; three grandchildren, Zachary, Chase and Allie Harshbarger and many friends.

No services are planned at this time. Interment will be interred in Arlington National Cemetery in Washington DC at a later date.

Arrangements are by Heber Springs Funeral Home.
