Betty Maxine (Powell) Lapple

     Betty Maxine Lapple, 77, of Tumbling Shoals, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 14, 2015. She was born November 11, 1938 to Elsie and Dorothy Powell in Palestine, Arkansas.

     Betty always spoke the truth with love. She was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Betty loved gardening, and she thoroughly enjoyed watching animals in nature. Betty also took pleasure in the time she spent fishing.

     She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Bonnie Robinson and Joyce Rhodes.

     Betty is survived by her loving husband, Terry Lapple; four children: Terry (Vanessa) McDaniel, Steve (Shawn) McDaniel; Timothy McDaniel; and Virgil McDaniel; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Lonnie (Mary Jane) Powell of Hot Springs, Arkansas; one sister, Jo Ann (Melvin) O’Neil of Georgia; an “adopted” son, Leroy Akridge; and numerous extended family members and friends.
